Clínica Santisteban in Ibiza is partnering with Un Jour Un Regard, a French studio specialising in eyebrow design and micropigmentation, to offer its treatments on the island.
The brand
Un Jour Un Regard focuses on eyebrow design, reconstruction and semi-permanent make-up, with an emphasis on natural, personalised results. It is led by Sabrina Eléonore, a specialist in micropigmentation who has studios in Paris’s Passy district, on Fifth Avenue in New York and on Calle Velázquez in Madrid. She has worked with public figures preparing for major events such as the Oscars and the Cannes Film Festival.
The clinic
Clínica Santisteban already offers dental and facial aesthetic treatments. The agreement adds Un Jour Un Regard’s techniques to its services, with the aim of combining health and aesthetics in one place.
The treatments
- Eyebrow design and reconstruction: shaping and filling brows according to the structure of each face, including for people who have lost hair through over-plucking, ageing or illness.
- Micropigmentation: semi-permanent make-up for eyebrows, lips and eyeliner, lasting months rather than days.
- Consultation: each treatment begins with an analysis of the face to choose the most suitable shape and colour.
Medical reconstruction
Beyond aesthetics, micropigmentation has a reconstructive use. It can help people who have lost their eyebrows after chemotherapy or because of alopecia, and can be used to recreate the appearance of the areola after breast reconstruction. For many patients, these treatments are an important step in recovering their self-image.
What to check before a treatment
Micropigmentation involves introducing pigment into the skin, so health authorities recommend:
- choosing a centre that is properly licensed and meets hygiene requirements;
- asking about the pigments used and possible allergies;
- understanding that results fade over time and require touch-ups;
- following the aftercare instructions carefully.
A growing market
Ibiza’s beauty and aesthetics sector has grown alongside its luxury tourism, with international brands increasingly setting up on the island to serve both residents and seasonal visitors. The arrival of Un Jour Un Regard adds another name to that list.
