RCD Mallorca to face European champions PSG in the 48th Trofeu Ciutat de Palma

The pre-season friendly at Son Moix on 5 August is part of the deal that took Kang-in Lee to Paris, and season-ticket holders get in free.

Paris Saint-Germain, the reigning European champions, will play RCD Mallorca in this summer’s Trofeu Ciutat de Palma, the city’s traditional pre-season tournament.

The 48th edition, which this year also marks the 150th anniversary of sponsor Estrella Damm, will be played on 5 August at 8pm at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix.

Part of the Kang-in Lee deal

The fixture was agreed as part of the transfer that took South Korean midfielder Kang-in Lee from Mallorca to PSG. Lee, who made his name at Son Moix before moving to Paris, is expected to return to face his former club.

Mallorca’s first home game of the season

For Mallorca, the match will be the first home game of the 2026/27 campaign and their penultimate friendly before the league season begins. The club will play its final warm-up match on 8 August, against an opponent still to be confirmed.

The game gives manager and supporters a first look at how the squad, including any summer signings, measures up against one of the strongest sides in Europe.

Tickets

Season-ticket holders will be able to attend free of charge. General sale tickets will be released later, with dates and prices to be announced through the club’s official channels.

A long-running tournament

The Trofeu Ciutat de Palma has been held since 1969 and has brought a long list of major European clubs to the island over the years. A visit from the Champions League holders makes this one of the most attractive editions in recent memory, and a large crowd is expected.
