After a hot Tuesday, Wednesday 3 June will be slightly cooler in Mallorca, with clouds inland and a small chance of a light shower, although most forecasts suggest it will stay dry.
Wind and waves
Strong north-easterly winds will blow on Tuesday night, easing by Wednesday morning. The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has issued a yellow coastal alert for the north and north-east of the island from midnight to midday on Wednesday, with waves of around two metres and gusts of up to 50 km/h. Take care if you are heading to the beach or doing water sports on that coast.

Sea safety
North-easterly winds can make beaches on the north coast — such as those in the bays of Pollença and Alcúdia — dangerous, with waves and currents even on sunny days. Always check the flag, follow lifeguards’ instructions and avoid swimming in rough sea.
