Rodrigo Cuevas headlines Ibiza's Nits de Tànit festival

The 12th edition, below the walls of Dalt Vila, also features Valeria Castro and a Pitiusan duo blending local tradition and electronics.

The Nits de Tànit festival returns for its 12th edition in August, with Asturian artist Rodrigo Cuevas as its headline act. Organised by the Consell d’Eivissa, the festival takes place at the former military headquarters at the foot of Dalt Vila, part of Ibiza’s UNESCO World Heritage site.

The programme

Date Artist Show
22 August Anna Sala & Lara Magrinyà Turmari
28 August Rodrigo Cuevas Bellezu
30 August Valeria Castro El cuerpo después de todo

All concerts start at 10pm.

Rodrigo Cuevas

Cuevas is one of the most original artists in Spanish music. Winner of Spain’s National Prize for Contemporary Music in 2023, he blends Asturian folk with electronic music, theatre, humour and striking visuals, bringing traditional music into entirely new territory.

Turmari

The Ibiza-based duo of Anna Sala and Lara Magrinyà present Turmari, a project that combines the musical heritage of Ibiza and Formentera with experimental electronics, synthesisers, traditional instruments and glosa, the Pitiusan tradition of improvised sung poetry.

Valeria Castro

The Canarian singer-songwriter Valeria Castro, one of the most acclaimed new voices in Spanish music, closes the festival with songs from her latest album. Her intimate songwriting and warm voice have earned her major awards and nominations in recent years.

A cultural highlight

Sara Ramon, the Consell’s councillor for culture, education and heritage, says Nits de Tànit has become one of the island’s leading cultural events, combining internationally recognised artists with local projects and showing that Ibiza has much more to offer than beaches and nightlife.

Tickets and transport

  • Tickets go on sale on 14 July at 3pm.
  • €10 in advance, €15 on the door, subject to availability.
  • Maximum five tickets per person per concert.

A free shuttle minibus runs from the Multicines Eivissa area to the venue from 7.30pm to 9.30pm before each concert.

Tips

Arrive early for a good spot, wear comfortable shoes, and bring a light jacket — the evenings can be breezy beneath the walls of Dalt Vila.
