Trust's new power banks aim to keep handheld consoles going all summer

Three ranges, from a pocket-sized 5,000 mAh unit to slim and sturdy 20,000 mAh models, priced from €19.99.

Handheld consoles such as the Nintendo Switch 2, Steam Deck and ROG Ally have made gaming on the move easier than ever — but their batteries still run down quickly. Accessory maker Trust has launched three ranges of power banks aimed at players who want to keep going outdoors this summer.

Pact Pocket 5,000 mAh

The smallest model measures just 77 × 38.6 × 25 mm, small enough for a pocket. According to the manufacturer, it can restore most of the charge of a current handheld console.

  • 20 W fast charging via USB-C.
  • Folding plug and built-in cable.
  • Charges up to three devices at once.
  • LED display showing the exact charge level.
  • Price: €19.99.

Avala 10,000 and 20,000 mAh

For longer days out, the Avala range offers more capacity.

  • One 20 W USB-C Power Delivery port and two USB-A ports.
  • Charges up to three devices at once.
  • Screen showing remaining battery percentage, with a green light when fast charging is active.
  • Supplied with a 30 cm USB-C cable.
  • Prices: €29.99 (10,000 mAh) and €39.99 (20,000 mAh).

Fiera 10,000 and 20,000 mAh

The Fiera range has a thinner design, closer to the profile of a phone, so it fits more easily in a console case.

  • 20 W USB-C port plus one USB-A port.
  • Charge-level display.
  • Prices: €29.99 (10,000 mAh) and €39.99 (20,000 mAh).

All models are designed to meet airline rules for carrying batteries in hand luggage.

How to choose

  • Short top-ups: a 5,000 mAh unit is enough for a boost between sessions.
  • A full day out: 10,000 or 20,000 mAh gives several charges for a phone or at least one full charge for most handheld consoles.
  • Several devices: check how many ports you need and whether they share the total power.

Tips for using power banks in summer

Heat is the enemy of lithium batteries. Avoid leaving power banks in direct sunlight, on the beach or in a hot car, as high temperatures reduce their lifespan and, in extreme cases, can cause them to swell or fail. Store them in the shade and, for flights, always carry them in hand luggage rather than checked bags.
