More than 35,000 people attended a charity music festival in Madrid organised by Iberdrola to mark the energy company’s 125th anniversary, with Lenny Kravitz closing a bill of Spanish pop stars.
The line-up
The artists performed in this order:
- Lola Bozzano
- Álvaro de Luna
- Ana Mena
- Manuel Carrasco
- Lenny Kravitz
Radio presenter Cristina Boscá hosted the event, and DJ David Álvarez played sets between performances.
More than a concert
The venue, Iberdrola Music in Madrid, offered games, food trucks and chill-out areas in addition to the music, turning the day into a full festival experience from the afternoon into the night.
Where the money went
Proceeds from ticket sales went to five organisations:
- Spanish Association Against Cancer — research and patient support.
- Acción contra el Hambre — the fight against hunger.
- Fundación Tu Techo — housing for young people in vulnerable situations.
- Betania — support for families affected by the DANA floods.
- Fundación Integra — job training and inclusion.
Part of a wider celebration
The concert was one of the main events in “125 Light Years”, Iberdrola’s anniversary programme running throughout 2026, which includes concerts, exhibitions, community projects and special lighting on landmark buildings.
The programme began with a concert in Bilbao, the company’s home city, on 12 June, where nearly 40,000 people saw Juanes, Antonio Orozco, Rigoberta Bandini and Süne, followed by a drone show. The next major event is in Valencia on 28 November, with Estopa and Mafalda Cardenal.
Corporate concerts
Large companies are increasingly using big music events to mark anniversaries and build their brands, often linking them to charitable causes. For the audience, the attraction was clear: a line-up mixing some of Spain’s most popular artists with an international rock star, and the knowledge that their ticket was also supporting social causes.
