Bad Bunny opened his ten-night run at Madrid’s Riyadh Air Metropolitano stadium with a string of famous faces visiting “La Casita”, the small second stage that has become one of the talking points of his DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS world tour.
What is La Casita?
La Casita — “the little house” — is a compact stage set up away from the main platform and designed to look like a brightly painted Puerto Rican home, complete with furniture. Bad Bunny uses it for more intimate parts of the show, and each night he invites guests to join him there.
The first night’s guests
At the opening concert, the visitors included:
- Actors: Ester Expósito, known internationally for the series Élite; Hollywood star Ana de Armas; and Sevillian actress María León.
- Footballers: Rayo Vallecano’s Isi Palazón and Camello, fresh from playing in the Conference League final, and Real Madrid’s Álvaro Carreras and Dani Ceballos, enjoying a break during the World Cup period.
Videos of their appearances quickly spread on social media, where fans have been tracking who turns up each night.
The Madrid dates
After two concerts in Barcelona on 22 and 23 May, the tour moved to the Spanish capital. The Metropolitano is hosting ten shows: 30 and 31 May, and 2, 3, 6, 7, 10, 11, 14 and 15 June.
The show combines songs from his latest album with a narrative celebrating Puerto Rican culture, and the setlist and the La Casita guests change from night to night.
A record run
Ten nights at a single stadium is an exceptional run for any artist in Spain, and the concerts drew fans from across the country, including many from the Balearic Islands who travelled to Madrid for the shows.
